Network Trash Folder problems

Dave

I run an NT4 domain. I have several win2k workstations
that have a mapped drive to one of those NT4 servers.
Whenever they go to access that mapped network drive they
get the following error:

file: 'drive:\network trash folder\trashcan usage map' is
locked.
---more--
network trash can usage map is locked.
exception: sys_error, status 33, msg: the process cannot
access the file because anoother process has locked a
portion of the file.

Not sure what's happening. If I delete the mapped drive,
the problem goes away, but I believe that is only a
temporary solution. Any advice?

Probably get with the application developer on the issue.
