I am running a Windows 2000 file Server with Windows XP
machines (around 30+ machines). My network seems to be
fairly slow, is there any tips or tricks to increase my
network speed/performance out there. Any help would be
nice please.

To increase network performance, you will want to use a switch ( as opposed
to a hub ).Ideally you only want a single protocol to run on the network as
well ( TCP/IP for instance ). You can also look for ways to cut out
broadcasts. Sniff your network and see whats going on. It may be a matter
of resources on the machine that causes the appearance of a slow network.
