Network Shuts down when someone accesses it

I have a wierd problem to where when ever someone on my
network through a simple HUB tries to copy files from my
computer, the whole network goes down (only for mine).
The internet goes down and the network goes down, I guess
i get shuned from the HUB or something. The other
computer is fine, just mine gets shafted! The internet
and network work fine untill someone tries to copy
anything form my computer. plz help, i have some large
files i want to backup on the other computer and i cant
seem to get this thing fixed!
