network problems

I recently quaranteened some pup's that were picked up by my macafee anti
virus software on a virus scan and since then I keep getting an error message
on start up that says "TCP/IP network transporter not installed" so I press
ok to get rid of it. However when I try surf the net or to share files with
my other computers on the network, I cannot do either of the tasks. I've
tried the help and troubleshooting advice but I cannot locate this error
problem.

Can anyone help please?

you may want to try lspfix.exe.
