network problem with Win98 & WinXP

hi there, please help me on this.
i working in an small company, we have 1 windows 2003 server as domain. most
of the PC is Win98, i have few Wind XP Pro clients.
i have some problem on file sharing on WinXP with Win98.
in windows 98, sometimes when i double click the computer(WinXP) in Network
Neighborhood, it prompt me to key in password. i have enter all the password
i know but it is no use. i need to restart the computer(WinXP), log in to
network again, then only i can access WinXP PC from Win98 PC. it happen all
the times, i need to restart the PC more than 10 times a day...
please help me on this...
 
Most times this problem resolves if you create an account on the XP machine
that matches the login ID and password of the Win98 machine, you can login
and access resources on the Win XP machine from the Win98 machine.
 
Hi there, i have the same problem exactly. Although they have the same
workgroup, right ip addresses (im pinging and the 2 computers right) it
prompts me for a password. I create a guest account and still it doesnt work.

What else? :
