Network Printer Need

My HP LaserJet 2200d is out of production and I have thus far not found the
plug in card that would permit it to work as an address on a LAN that has
several computers connected. Would the 2200d work with a print server, ie,
D-Link DP-G321? The DP-G321 has one parallel and two USB ports. The 2200d
has one parallel I/O and one USB port. I am only guessing that the USB port
is functional. The parallel port is working now with particular computer.
It also works with another LAN computer on a 'shared' basis but I would like
to rid myself of the requirement to have another computer on when needing to
print from any other computer on the LAN. The 'shared' operation does
produce slow downs in the computer to which the printer is connected
(admittedly minor but still irritating). Thanks for any comments.

I haven't worked with that specific D-Link model but from the
specifications it would appear to meet your requirements.

One caveat. This is a wireless unit and that makes it probably more
expensive than their wired models such as the DP-300U and DP-301U. On
the other hand the DP-G321 has USB 2.0 ports and the wired models are
only USB 1.1

Good luck
