Network path not found when trying to joing domain

I have 3 W2K Server machines. One is my AD DC (EINSTEIN), the other
two are clients (HENDRIX and GOLIATH). GOLIATH was able to join the
domain with no problem. When I attempt to join the domain with
HENDRIX I get the message that the network path is not found. HENDRIX
is able to ping EINSTEIN and visa versa. I am able to access shares
on either of the other computers from HENDRIX and the internet too. I
have checked my DNS and DCHP settings and everything seems good. I
have reinstalled the OS and changed NIC cards and still the same
problem. Any suggestions?

You should try to use nslookup to verify, that you can resolve srv records
from HENDRIX. Have you tried to use Netbios and DNS domain name when jining
your server to the domain ?
