I have networked 2 computers that are both running XP Pro. I installed an
Ethernet card in each one and then ran a cable from each card to a HUB. The
main reason for doing this (other than getting the experience) is so one of
my computers could use the printer that is installed on the other. Everything
seems to be working OK. The printer is working great with both PC’s. The only
thing I can not figure out is the yellow exclamation point over the small
pc’s located on the task bar. All it will say is “limited or no
connectivityâ€. Can anyone let me know what is going on and what I need to do
to fix this exclamation point? All help appreciated.

You may need to make sure you have connected the two pc's with a "crossover"
cable. This is wired slightly differenlt to a standard cat5 or cat6
networking cable.

Sorry, Ignore my reply below. I missed the part about connecting to a hub.
Therefore a crossover cable is not required. It is possible though that the
cables you have used are faulty or wired incorrectly.
