Network neighborhood

Hello

This is my problem:

Office #1 has a server DC which is also a DNS server and
a DHCP server.
Office #2 has 2 computers and hasn't got any server.

Both offices are connected through an ASDL and a router.

Office #1 is on 192.168.1.x
Office #2 is on 192.168.2.x

With office #1 machine I can see only office #1 machines
through Network Neighborhood.

With office #2 machine I can see all machines in office
#1 and office #2 through Network Neighborhood.

Why is that office #2 machines can see those in office #1
and not vice versa ?

Please note if I type \\office#2 from a machine in office
#1 I can access to office #2 machine.

Thanks for your help.

Dany

Hi,

Have you configured a Wins server or server? To browse across subnets you
will need at least one Wins server.
Are the machines in Office #2 part of the domain?

Thanks,
