Network (LAN) Connection

I have a 2Wire Wireless DSL Modem. I have it connected to
a 5 port switch. On the switch are 2 PC's (wired) and 2
Notebooks (wireless). I cannot get the MS network up and
able to see the ther PC's.

Anybody have any thoughts???

Ensure that all firewalls are disabled or removed while troubleshooting. If you're running any third party firewalls, completely remove it (or configure it for the local area network). Ensure all Workgroup names are the same, the default is MSHOME in XP. Make sure each machine has the same subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. If they are different, they are on different networks. You can easily find this very info by opening the command prompt, and typing "ipconfig" or "ipconfig/all". If they are different and DHCP is present, type ipconfig/release then ipconfig/renew to renew your network settings
