Need help with getting Network Neighborhood and Network Places icons to show
on desktop. Thanks in advance..

Hi Lavert,

To add the My Network Places icon to your desktop:

1. Right-click the desktop, and then click Properties.
2. On the Desktop tab, click Customize Desktop.
3. Under Desktop icons, click to select the check boxes of the icons you
want to view.
4. Click OK two times.

Try right clicking on the Start bar in an empty and in the menu left click
properties from there you can select start menu then click classic this makes
yor start menu like Windows 2000 and brings Icons to the desk top Like "My
Network Places and My Computer and Explorer.
Hope this helps....
