Network drives

Dear all,
I have a small win XP pro peer to peer network at home. I have recently
put in wireless access points to allow 3 laptops (also running XP pro)
to log in from time to time. There are 2 PC's which remain constantly
on. One has 1 drive and 2 folders mapped as drives (E, I, & K) to my
laptop. The other has just one folder mapped as a drive (M) to my
laptop. When my laptop boots up, it connects to drive M with no
difficulty. But when I open explorer and click on the drives with red
crosses underneath they link up OK. How can I get this to occur on logon
automatically, please?
Your help, as usual is much appreciated.

You didn't detail your exact problem, but it seems you detailed your
workaround, so I'm making assumptions on what your problem is. You wrote:

When you map a drive in XP, there's a small check box which specifically
asks if you want to automatically connect at logon, make sure that's checked
when you map the drives. If you don't, I believe that the resource is not
'linked' until it is used.

Hope this helps.
