network drives unavailable

Hi,
I am having a problem with a docked laptop, where the network drives show up
as unavailable with the net use command (Win XP Sp2). If I go into windows
explorer and click on them, they reconnect and are available. This creates a
problem for my App that tries to connect drives at the "dos" level with a
batch file. When the machine was new I had no such issue. Any help would be
appreciated.

You're might be seeing some 'file blocking' issue. SP2 started that.

New files downloaded onto your system will not run unless you rightclick the
file, Properties, and click the "Unblock" button
