Network drives being disconnected

O.k., I have posted this before and have read several
other post about this same subject and have not seen a
resolution from Microsoft yet. We continue to have our
mapped network drives become disconnected (show up with
the dreaded red x). This is happening between Win2k
clients and a Win2k server. All autodisconnect features
have been tried.

I turned autodisconnect off with the command line entry on
both the PC and server.

I turned it off with the registry entry on both the PC and
the server.

I tried changing the value to the maximum allowed on both
PC and server.

I have changed the value in the Domain Group Policy.

The drives still become disconnected! If you click on the
drive it reconnects, but it is causing major problems when
a program is run that tries to write to that drive and it
errors out because it is disconnected. It has nothing to
do with a particualr PC b/c it is happening on multiple
PCs. Please advise.
