I have an external hard drive attached to my desktop computer, running
windows xp home edition sp-2, which I use for back and downloading and just
recently I have been unable to access this drive from my laptop thru my home
network even though it does show to be on the network and is shared. I have
formatted this drive and it is ntfs file system and the message I get on the
the laptop is that i may not have the premission to use this network
resource, but also get not enough server storage is avail to process this
command. ??

Connie,

That's a well known problem here. It relates to an obscure registry setting,
and is generally caused by an antivirus installation.
