I am having a problem with my network connection. I am able to connect to
the internet (ping web sites, browse the internet using ie, send email using
outlook, aim, etc.) for a couple hours after I have rebooted my computer.
After a couple hours I can no longer browse the internet using IE I get a
page can not be displayed error and outlook times out when trying to connect
to the mail server. I can still ping external web sites and aim is still
connected. Once I reboot the issue is resolved but comes back in a couple of
hours.
I know that the connection (cable modem and linksys router) are not the
issue because another computer is on the network is not having the same
problems.
I have deleted temp inet files. I have reinstalled IE. I have deleted
the winsock and winsock2 reg keys and recreated them. I have removed and
reinstalled tcp/ip. I have reinstalled the drivers for the NIC. Is there
anything else I can do?

Check the power management on the NIC. From Device Manager, look at the
NIC properties, Power Management tab and disable Windows from turning
off the NIC when "not in use". See if that helps.
