Using xp home and when I click Network connection, there is no icon or
wordings on the RIGHT hand side. When I try to create a new connection and
the wizard will appear and check 'connect to internet', check " set up my
connection manually' and it will then give "connect using a broadband
connection that is always on'. The first 2 options are "gray-out". So I just
cannot create a dialler. Normally upon installing the adsl modem, it will
automatically create a dialler but not in this case.Something is wron her and
hope someone will be able to assist in resolving the issue

although I am not comparing apple with apple, in my xp home in question, in
my "services.msc" it seems I have this file 'command service' and missing
'internet connection' where as in xp prof, I do not have the 'command
service' and have the 'internet connection'. Is there something missing in my
xp home? Please help, thanks
