I have xp home, my husband had Win2k. We had out network set up perfectly.
He took his pc to work and they set it up on a wireless. We are using
linksys at home. He brooght his home. I got us on the web together but
cannot find what is wrong with the rest of our network. I changed our
workgroup on his back to mshome, but it cannot see the path to my computer.
We can no longer share files or the printer. He has what he needs to use the
printer. Something else was changed and I don't have enough expertise to
find it. It may be our firewalls and I shut down our zone alarm and still
got nowhere. It is some item I have missed. Can anyone help me? 3 days and
I am out of ideas. Thanks.

Mopsy,

Moving a computer between networks can be a lot of fun. I've outlined some of
the issues in this article:
<http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/have-laptop-will-travel.html>

Give that article a good read, if you don't spot a problem from that, then we
can do some diagnostics and identify the problem. Provide "browstat status" and
"ipconfig /all" from each computer, as a start. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely:
