Network Adapter Needs more resources!!

i installed my netowrk card again after rebooting my XP Home laptop,
but it does not get recongnised by the belkin utility, when i go to
device manager, under the device status it says "this device can not
find enough free resources that it can use", so i tried disabling a few
hardwares and reinstalling the card but it still does not work :-( .

I can not see the adapter in the list when i go to resource - IRQ
either. So it can't be sharing another IRQ.

Well, A BIOS upgarde may help (go to acer's website, and see if there's
one available for your model laptop). It's also possible you may be
able to disable some devices in the BIOS (Keep track of which ones!)
Finally, see if there's an updated driver for your card. After that,
It's shop for a different brand of card.

If Acer or Belkin could tell you how the resources
allocation for this device looks normally,
you could investigate what is missing and why.
