I have 2 xp home SP2 machines trying to connect on a network through a router
and here's the problem: Computer A can't see A or B but computer B can see A
and B but can't access A (Access Denied and so on). I have tried the network
wizard on many occasions to no avail. On computer A there are multiple users
meanwhile on computer B it is strictly one user. I know I'm forgetting
something small but I am not sure what. Any help or suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Elie
P.S.: Computer A is desktop and Computer B is laptop.

Elie,

File sharing between two Windows XP Home computers is fairly simple. Enable the
Guest account, using Start - Run - "cmd" - type "net user guest /active:yes" in
the command window, on each computer.

That is, assuming that you're not trying to access "C:\Program Files",
"C:\Windows", or various folders in My Documents, none of which are accessible
thru the network.

More about file sharing, between all different versions of Windows:
