network 2 computers on 2 different networks.....?

Cable modem to Linksys BEFSR11 router to netgear 16 port switch to
computer A as well as 12 other computers

Cablemodem to 8 port switch to Linksys (WRT54G) router with 4 more
ports to computer B

Tried Port Forwarding, but how?

Do the cable modems connect to the Internet? Doing file sharing (or networking
WHAT services?) between 2 computers, thru the Internet is extremely dangerous.
Doing this with 2 LANs is worse. Port forwarding to a server for Windows
Networking is simply not done, if you know what you're doing.

Setup a VPN between the 2 LANs, please.
