Lardy

Hi,

Is there a netsh command to disable and enable a network connection? To do
it in Windows you find your Network Connections folder, Right-click the
network connection and select Disable/Enable.

Lardy.

Been there already. I couldn't find what I want. Probably in the same
place as the butter in the refrigerator. Anyone else have any ideas?

Lardy.

Yes, yes, yes. I have done this also.

NEWSFLASH: When I post to a newsgroup it is because I have searched high and
low and haven't found the answer. So what I would like, if anyone knows...
is the answer to my question. Is there a netsh command to disable and
enable a network connection? If anyone knows the answser please just post
the answer.

Lardy.

NO!

Hope this helps. Let us know.

Dear Kelly & Wesley,

My point is this. There is an old saying...

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Show a man how to fish and
you feed him for life.

What you both assumed incorrectly is that I don't know how to fish. I know
how to fish, I just wanted to know where to find a Netsh Trout.

So if you don't know the answer then don't post.

Kelly, I can't help wondering if you were pushing your own agenda of
promoting your website without actually offering any real help.

Wesley, if the answer is "NO", then why didn't you post this the first time?

Lardy.

I didn't assume anything. You made a post and I answered. How was I to
know you had been fishing and this group was your last resort. For that
matter, why didn't you post that to begin with?

As for your latter comment, I gain absolutely "nothing/nada" by promoting my
website (using your words), which is a part of my signature. As for the end
of that comment, I don't even have to defend that. My work speaks for
itself.

A lot of people may know the answer but why would they bother with a jackass
like you. And good luck telling people not to post to usenet.

Kelly,

Your first reply didn't answer anything. All you did was post a Google
search of the key words from my original post. Everyone knows how to
Google, so you don't offer anything knew by posting a Google URL. So what
does it achieve??

ted s.,

Is the Shift key broken on your keyboard? I refute your claim that I have
been a Jackass. All I am saying is that if Kelly and Wesley didn't know the
answer to my question, then don't post. All I am after is a solution not a
good intentioned gentle nudge in the right direction.

Lardy.

Lardy,

You did not state that you knew how to fish. How was anyone supposed to
know? I did not post NO the first time because I thought the netsh help
would answer the question and show you something, if you did not know that
already. Which you must not have known or you would not have asked the
question in the first place.

You're talking to people who owe you nothing and who have been
trying to help you. And you're complaining to them about their
efforts.

Don't be surprised if neither of them offers you any help again.
Also, with an attitide like yours, don't be surprised if nobody
else offers you help either. I know that I certainly won't.

Well, they tried to help, and I cannot speak for them, but I wouldn't be
surprised if they don't try help to you again; I certainly won't help you
with that attitude!
