I have been using Netscape Communicator 7.1 for my e-mail
application. I have just purchased a new PC with WIndows
XP home edition as the OS. I would like to start using
Outlook Express. Is there a way to import my address
book, inbox, and sentbox from Communicator to Outlook
express?

unfortunately not directly. You need to transfer your Netscape 7 emails
through either Netscape 4.x or Eudora first.
if you need to know how to do that, post back.

.
Can I import from Netscape 7 to Netscape 7 on my new PC
if I connect them together with an Ethernet cross over
cable. My old system has Windows ME as its OS.

Yes - just copy your profile over (I think) - you'd possibly be better off
asking this in a Netscape newsgroup.

From within Outlook Express, simply click File > Import..... It's
pretty self-explanatory.

Umm not for 7.x it isn't - Netscape 6 and 7 versions use different file
locations and different index files to netscape 4.x.

Outlook Express doesn't recognise the 6 and 7 index files so can't import
directly.

AFAIK......

My bad, I hadn't really tried it. OE listed "Netscape
Communicator," but didn't specify a version, as an import option.
