NetMeeting - Remote desktop sharing is disable

Hi,
I have a problem with NetMeeting.
I want use NetMeeting for remote desktop sharing. But option "Tools/Remote
Desktop Sharing..." is disable. It`s gray, I can`t click on the option.
There are two places in the Group Policy Editor, where i can permit remote
desktop sharing in NetMeeting. I was permited both, but error is still here.
Any idea?

Are you using SP1 or SP2?

The problem was fixed in SP2.


On SP1 you have to go to "Virtual Display Driver" component Registry section in your Configuration and manually delete the following
entries:
[HLKM\System\CurrentControlSet\-Services\mnmdd\Enum\0]

[HLKM\System\CurrentControlSet\-Services\mnmdd\Enum\Count]

[HLKM\System\CurrentControlSet\-Services\mnmdd\Enum\NextInstan-ce]

I also have some questions about Netmeeting.
I build a XPE image with SP2 and i can enable the "Remote Desktop
Sharing" now.
And when i close the netmeeting windows, the Netmeeting Remote Desktop
Sharing icon will appear on systemtray.
But i can not active it on systemtray. ( Right clicking and select
"Active Remote Desktop Sharing" )
Is it a bug or i miss some components?
I also include "Telent Server" and "Quality of Service RSVP".
But it still can not be actived.

Is the "mnmdd" (Netmeeting driver) service started on your XPe system?

You can verify that with Device Manager/show hidden devices option, find the mnmdd service node there.
Or use a command like "devcon status @ROOT\LEGACY_MNMDD*". (devcon you can download from here
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;311272)
