if this is in the wrong place, please move it and sorry.....
i am testing a network behind router to communicate w/dialup computer-
currently testing in my home so dialup is through dsl filter. when trying to
use conferencing, no video/sound is transmitted (can see the camera from each
computer in its PIP). all other functions work well, and all options are Set
correctly i think (not first time i've used this). i tried changing the isp
header compression for the dialup (from a faq) as suggested in the windows
website. i can use netmeeting on the two computers on the network and all
funtions work well. don't think is firewall issue as all have same firewall
(norton) and it works on the networked computers. also have configured the
router (netgear) to use port forwarding for netmeeting (had a standard choice
in menu to do this), and as mentioned all other functions work well. MSN
messenger works over dialup (would rather use netmeeting though).
any ideas what may be wrong and how to fix.
thanks much

You need to forward ports from the router to you LAN IP or have UpnP enabled
in the router and in your computer.
