Netmeeting in windows messenger

Greetings David,

If you're using Windows Messenger 4.x, you can make this option reappear by turning on
compatibility mode for Windows Messenger. To do so, close down Windows Messenger
(right-click icon in the notification area/system tray and click Exit), then click Start,
point to All Programs and right-click the Windows Messenger shortcut and click Properties.
Then, click the compatibility tab, and check the box next to 'Run this program in
compatibility mode for' and choose Windows 2000. Click OK and now Windows Messenger will have
a 'Start Netmeeting' option. Please note that this will deactivate the built-in video
support in Windows Messenger (but you can get it back by simply turning off compatibility
mode and restarting Windows Messenger).

If you're using Windows Messenger 5.x, you can make this option appear by closing down
Windows Messenger (right-click its icon in the notification area/system tray and click Exit),
then download and run this .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/wm5_addnetmeeting.reg
After this, restart Windows Messenger, and you should now see 'Start Netmeeting' in Windows
Messenger.
