Brian Ayotte

I am getting this error on a new serevr that is part of
our domain.

No Windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain Controller is
available for domain xxxxx. The following error occurred:
There are currently no logon servers available to service
the logon request.

When I check the domain controller I see the computer in
the domain and the controller says it is there. As well
Ther is no problem logging on to the server. Any ideas
why this is not working?

Hi Brian,

Make sure that the DNS servers you have configured under the tcp/ip
properties of your server do have a DNZ zone for your domain name, and that
it is populated.

Thanks.
