NETLOGON and SYSVOL show up in SMB from MAC 10.3 to Windows 2003.

Hello,

When I put in the IP address from a mac to connect via SMB it gives me a
drop down list to go to shares. SYSVOL and NETLOGON show even though I
don't see mac shares for them under management. Is there a way to hide them
from the mac users?

Thanks

To see these volumes, you must be connecting via SMB and not AFP. SMB
would be what Windows sees.

When connecting to your server use a connect string such as
"afp://serverName" or "afp://serverIPAddress".

Hope this helps! bill

Yes, I am connecting as SMB but these should be hidden but they aren't on
the mac side.
