Netlogon 5781 after KB 835732

vb

Hello there, hope you can help..

I have spent alot of time looking into the 5781 issue that's been
occuring on our domain over the last 3 month. I've at about 5
solutions from Microsoft which did not make any scence in this
situation.

I've then reviewed the logs bit more thoroughly against other dc's and
found the same patern when these logs have started to appear. Ever
scince KB 835732 was rolled out, this became a problem (5781's appear
every hour).

All DC's are DNS Servers and are configured to use itself as a primary
one, and another as a secondary one.

The allow secure updates only only is enabled, The DC is using a
forwarder in a dmz. everything works fine but these logs !! :(

I've finally stumbled across people having a similar problem in this
post;

Can Microsoft say anything about this ?

Thanks very much in advance,

vb

Hi vb

It's hard to provide any focussed advice without understanding the context
in which these events are occurring.

General articles:

The forwarder in the DMZ may provide a clue when you compare the situation
to 257462 above. Perhaps responses from the DNS server in the DMZ are
problematic?

This sounds like an issue that will require some focussed troubleshooting.
Do you have a support incident open with Microsoft? You said that Microsoft
have provided suggestions.

Kind regards
