NETDOM Returns 'procedure number is out of range'

C:\>netdom computername MYSERVERNAME /enumerate
The procedure number is out of range.

The command failed to complete successfully.

This syntax works fine for a lot of my servers and does NOT work for a lot
of others. Does anyone know what it means?

When it works it looks like this:

C:\>netdom computername SERVER2 /enumerate
All of the names for the computer are:

SERVER2.childDomain.myDomain.com
The command completed successfully.
