I recently loaded a program called Snoop from
KarenWare.com which shows programs running on my system.
In the log file it created, a program named NetDDE Agent
is running. The internet search I did indicated this
could be a hacking problem for my network and a patch
from Microsoft is needed. I apply the fixes sent by
mircrosoft automatically. Is my research correct and
what should I do to protect my computer and network.

NetDDE Agent is Windows XP Clipboard and is a normal process.
When you cut or copy information from a program, it is moved to
the Clipboard and remains there until you clear the Clipboard or until
you cut or copy another piece of information. The Clipboard window
in ClipBook Viewer shows the contents of the Clipboard.

Go to Start > Run and type: CLIPBRD , and hit enter.
