If you are on a tcp/ip network adding netbeui will not help. Do not confuse
this with netbios which runs over tcp/ip and is used for browsing. If this
"other" machine is running netbeui and not tcp/ip then you would need to add
the netbeui protocol to see it. Are you on a domain? workgroup?

You can add the protocol, but a) everyone would need it in order for it to
make a difference and b) you shouldn't need it. NetBIOS over TCP/IP should
suffice for browsing - and I prefer to keep things as simple as possible
myself, so I'd start by troubleshooting why it isn't working now. Is
everyone in the same workgroup? NetBIOS over TCP/IP enabled on all
computers?
