netbeui issue

Yes i had posted a question about removing netbeui all
together from my network. i run win 95-98 , and xp as
clients. i run win 2000 on the server end. when i remove
netbeui, the client end cannot log into the server. is
there something that needs done on the server to let these
clients logon to the win 2000 server. i have created user
accounts for these clients. this only happens with the win
9x machines................Thanks

Got WINS installed on the server? Got options 044 and 046 (0x8) set in
DHCP-server, Scope options?

How many nics in the server? Got DNS installed on the server as well?
How does the ipconfig/all from a client look like?
