If you mean across a network, like any network traffic, can be logged by any network
"monitor"-type tool. However, on the local machine, the messages are saved in the Event
Viewer. To see these, click Start, then Run, type "eventvwr.msc" and click OK. Then click
'System' on the left, look for the "Application Popup" as the source and double-click to view
what the message was.
After the message was received however, there really is no way of tracking it besides the
"from" name listed in the Event Viewer, which could (and in terms of the spam-type messages)
be falsified.
