I'm trying to set up a user in my office to print from a DOS based program to
a networked printer. The computer is running Windows XP Pro on a Novell
Netware network. The printer is connected "standard tcp/ip port"

I've tried net use LPT1: \\computername\printernam /persistent:yes

to capture the printer but all I get is System error 66.

What am I doing wrong?

Is that exactly what the message reads? "System error 66"?

I can't find a single reference to that exact wording in any known
Windows or Novell error message.

Please double check and confirm the actual verbatim text of the error
message.

Good luck
