Is the Messenger service configured to start automatically? Run
"services.msc" to find out.

Hi Steve, thanks for your prevous answer, ansd sorry if I'm too late (bad times at work)
Anyway, i tried what you suggested, no errors event, the strange fact is that if i stop an restart the messenger service the net send command start to work again. I'd like to fix it for good, everytime i reboot i have to restart the service on each pc of the network to make it work. Could it depend on the facy that all the pcs in the network are wi-fi
Thank
