.NET keeps encountering an error

Help!

I was working on a Crystal Report within VS.NET and I received an error
message - .NET needed to shut down.
Now, I can't reopen the solution I was working in.
Every time it tries, I get the same - .NET has encountered a problem and
must shut down.

I'm just finishing a report I've been working on for weeks!

your solution exist out of multiple files probably. try to open those files
instead of the solution
try to open the solution on a different computer with visual studio on it.
