I RECENTLY DOWNLOADED .NET FRAMEWROK VERSION 1.1 FROM
WINDOWS UPDATE WEBSITE. I HAVE WINDOWS XP HOME, AND NOW
IN THE USER ACCOUNTS WINDOW HAS APPEARED A NEW ACCOUNT
WHICH DOESNOT APPEAR AT THE LOGIN SCREEN.THE ACCOUNT IS
CALLED "ASP.NET MACHINE A...", IS A LIMITED ACCOUNT AND
IS PASSWORD PROTECTED. HAS THIS ACCOUNT APPEARED BECAUSE
I INSTALLED .NET FRAMEWORK V1.1 OR IS IT SOMETHING ELSE?

Yes, it has appeared because you installed .NET framework. As a
security measure, some .NET applications run under that limited user
account so that they don't have administrator privileges.
