I repeatedly have OLK stop responding at initial startup; the Watson problem
survey launches, takes forever for messages to load to folders. Send/receive
doesn't launch immediately, I have to launch. I can open the first message,
but none thereafter. I have to stop the app via Task Manager. Outlook then
goes thru its attempt to solve and continue. I get the .Net "unhandled
exception has occurred in a componenet in your application. If you click
Continue, ....... " Further on, "External component has thrown an
exception.". If I click Continue, it restarts and works fine for a while,
but after any period of inactivity, (ie, 5 minutes on non use), it stops
running and I have to restart the computer, as Outlook will not launch.
This is a 'clean machine', basically new, running Vista Home Premium and
Office 2k7 with all SP's installed and auto update running daily. Anyone else
having similar issues?
