.NET Framework 3.5

I'm trying to install .NET Framework 3.5 from microsofts site and all it does
is lift its leg on me with an install failure message.

I'm running Windows 7 - 64 bit - Home Premium.

Any clues?

You're asking in a .NET Compact Framework group, not a .NET Framework group.
I can just about guarantee that "an install failure message" is useless
information, though.

It may indeed be useless, but your answer, in all respect, is a bit
useless as well to some readers. WHy not tell them to post the complete
error message here? And maybe hint that most error message boxes allow
for CTRL-C copying of the message?
