.Net Frame Work

Pardon the ignorance.

What is .Net Framework?. What's it's function?.

Small problem I think with ATI Catalyst program which ATI refers to MS .Net
framework.

I do have installed according to control panel Add|Remove Programs.

The .net framework is a runtime file needed to run programs written with
..net. It's roughly analogous to the old vbrunXXX.dll files needed to run
programs written in Visual Basic.
