Nero DVD copy

Hi,

This is sure to be a really silly question but here it goes. I have the RC2
5744 DVD that I made when 5744 was briefly available to CPP but I don't have
the ISO image anymore, deleted long ago.

I'm trying to use Nero 7.5 to make a copy of my 5744 DVD so I can give it to
my brother as he wants to try it out but I can't seem to be able to copy the
DVD. I tried the Copy DVD option in Burning ROM and Nero Express with no luck
- it comes up with some kind of "check path" message or something like that.
Another way I tried is to copy the DVD with UDF-something and it created a
folder on the copied DVD with the content of the Vista disc. So it wasn’t
bootable or useable.

There's got to be an easy way to copy this DVD.

Can someone give me a clue on how to do it with Nero 7?

It would be greatly appreciated.

You need to Burn it as an ISO Image, Just FYI.

I burned my original Vista DVD from an ISO as an image and it works great.
Are you saying that to copy my Vista DVD to merely make another Vista DVD, I
would have to burn as an image too? Sorry, that didn't make much sense to me.

Rob:
I think that your post was mis-interpreted. I'm running Vista RC2
(5744) x64 with Nero 7.5.7.0 installed. When I try to copy the RC2 DVD Nero
formats the DVD first which isn't a problem for me because all I use is
DVD+rw disks. Using a DVD+r or DVD-r disk may be causing your problem. I
used the copy DVD function.
