Negotiate/SPNEGO authentication

I'm trying to test kerberos with SPNEGO but when my server sends back a
WWW-Authentication header with "Negotiate" to the browser,
the browser sends a authorization header in the request with "Negotiate" but
with
NTLMSSP. How do I force it to do kerberos and not NTLM ?
If I disable the "Enable Windows Integrated Authentication" box under
Options, the browser ends with a 501 Unauthorized for the Negotiate
WWW-Authentication header.
