I'm receiving the following events in the System Event log of a
freshly gen'd SBS 2003 Server :

Source : LSASRV
Category : SPNEGO (Negotiator)
Event ID : 40960

Description :

The Security System detected an authentication error for the server
DNS/kkvpdc.kitchenkettle.com. The failure code from authentication
protocol Kerberos was "The attempted logon is invalid. This is either
due to a bad username or authentication information." (0xc000006d)

and

Source : LSASRV
Category : SPNEGO (Negotiator)
Event ID : 40961

Description :

The Security System could not establish a secured connection with the
server DNS/kkvpdc.kitchenkettle.com. No authentication protocol was
available.

Any ideas how to correct this?? Thanks in advance for any help.....

Do you have a reverse zone created? If not, create one for your subnet and
see if this goes away.
