Negative currency

I have a data base that we use to calculate and keep track of What money
people owe use and what credits we give them we put a minuse before the
number (-100)
we just noticed that when we put the minus it doubles the money we are
crediting them like lets say we are crediting them -100 it will show us -200
on the next screen does anyone have any answers for me thank you

Have you used the form design view to inspect what's "behind" that "next
screen"?
