Neeed a utility to log or monitor wireless usage

Hi! I'm looking for a tool or utility whereby I can log/monitor when users
of laptops connect and disconnect to a wireless network. It would also be
nice to log when they start up and exit any applicaiton.

Any ideas?

Beyond that if your users are logging onto a server I presume the server
logs would tell you what folks are running. That is beyond my expertise...
