need tool to reset original date in email

Hello all.

After reconfiguring Outlook 2003 for hosted exchange and
importing .pst file from previous configuration, the imported emails
changed their delivery date to the date they were imported.

is there a tool to dig into the headers to retreive the origanal date
and correct the displayed date?

Maybe a script i could run?

Hello all.

After reconfiguring Outlook 2003 for hosted exchange and
importing .pst file from previous configuration, the imported emails
changed their delivery date to the date they were imported.

You've just discovered one of the major reasons NOT to use the import
function for native Outlook data.
The easiest answer would be: If you still have the original pst file, create
a new Outlook Profile, and do File-Open-Outlook Data File.Then copy the data
to the new pst file.
