Need to System Service....

I need to remove a system service that was "left" by an app uninstall. It
shows up in the Services mmc , and I find it in the Registry
(Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\LEGACY_blabla) &
in CurrentControlSet. With XP I just changed permissions on the LEGACY_
entries and deleted them then the Services entry went away.
Can't seem to remove the Vista(Enterprise) Registry entires - what can I do?
