Can anyone out advise how to recreate
C:\WINNT\SYSVOL\sysvol\<domain>\Policies.BAD\{31B2F340-
016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}\MACHINE\registry.pol on the
DC? No, I can't recover one from backup. I'm getting
lots of weird stuff happening and think it's related to a
corrupt domain policy that was left open for two weeks in
a TS session. Launching event viewer gives the error:
Unable to connect to the computer "and". The error was:
The network path was not found.
Drive mappings to the DC fail now with "network path not
found", and the application log is filling up with:
Windows cannot access the registry information at
\\topsoft.ca\sysvol\<domain>\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-
945F-00C04FB984F9}\Machine\registry.pol with (1351).
If anyone has any other suggestions apart from recreating
registry.pol, I'd love to hear them.
