Need to recover files from a admin XP home profile

I have a admin profile in windows XP home that I need to recover files from
but for some reason or another something happend to the file system. I was
able to fix the problem with the file system with another computer but I
can't rund windows on that harddrive and I can't access the protected files
from the admin account with the other computer.
